Pulsatilla vulgaris ‘Rote Glocke’

6-12” clumps of fuzzy ferny foliage emerge in spring and are topped by hairy red petaled bell shaped flowers over several weeks April and May. Blooms are replaced by seed heads that look like bright silver tufts of feather that sparkle in sunlight for many weeks. Long lived, easy to grow in well drained soil, sun to part shade. Drought tolerant, deer & rabbit resistant.
