(SOFT SHIELD FERN) Lovely, complex, lacy, semi-evergreen fronds (evergreen locally) are soft and dark green, forming low, arching mounds 12-18” tall and eventually 2-3’ across.  Super hardy , super deer and critter resistant and fairly drought resistant in shade once established!  Like a good mother fern, this sweetie produces tiny babies on the fronds.  Resents heat & humidity.
