Penstemon davidsonii var. menziesii
The cutest little rock garden subshrub, this gnome sized ground hugger with tiny evergreen foliage stays tight and tidy at 2” tall and slowly creeping to 12” wide; pretty purple-pink tubular spring flowers seem almost too large for the plant! Well drained soils, regular water to drought tolerant; sun to part shade; enjoys a gravel mulch; lovely in pots and troughs. Pacific Northwest Native.
USDA Z5-9 3” pot
