Superb understory Magnolia that performs best beneath larger trees in a lightly shaded woodland, but will also thrive  in full sun as as long as it doesn’t get reflected heat and has some protection from wind. Very showy flowers May>June are white with brilliant red stamens and a lovely fragrance!  Fall fruits are red and showy too!  Moderate growth 10-15’.  Average soil with regular moisture during hot, dry weather.
