Kniphofia pauciflora
Delicate airy plants belie a tough as nails character. Slender grassy foliage anchors spikes of relaxed, loose orange red buds opening to bright yellow florets. This species is not as stiff in its flowering habit as other Kniphies. Small at 18” tall and 15” wide, this perennial often blooms and reblooms May > September. Sun, all but the worst soil, drought tolerant, deer resistant, establish and abandon! USDA Z7
