Bulbous perennial from Argentina, this splendid naturalizer is always a pleasant surprise in the spring (April>May) with a profusion of fragrant star flowers in pale silvery china blue for weeks! Grassy foliage, 3-6″ tall…drought tolerant, deer resistant, no maintenance required. Prefers dry summer soil (so a perfect companion for species tulips!) but tolerates irrigation in fast draining soil. Full sun to part shade, easy to grow!
