Fuchsia magellanica ‘Hawkshead White’
Upright, arching stems to 3’ explode July > October with pure white flowers dangling like twirling ballerinas. Morning sun to part shade, well drained, moist soils. These plants look delicate but are quite tough! They take a few years to really get going, producing hundreds of flowers. The hardy fuchsias all attract hummers and die to the ground in winter, re-emerging in late spring. Planting deep and winter mulching is advised, especially the first year or two.
