Tight clump of narrow fronds to 2’ or taller, frond tips and leaf tips are crested (ruffled) I guess if you are a male fern you would rather be crested than ruffled? Semi-evergreen, moist cool, lightly shaded spots – tolerates dry shade after it is established. Shapely fern with a nice texture!
