(AKA DACTYLICAPNOS SCANDENS) Perennial, deciduous vine to 10-12’ with ferny foliage decorated all summer into fall with pretty clusters of yellow ‘bleeding heart’ flowers. Rich, moist, well drained soils;  plant roots in shade and let it grow up through a shrub or on a trellis toward the sun.  Climbs by thin tendrils, deer resistant.
