Cyperus papyrus ‘Baby Tut’
A mini Papyrus of Egyptian lore! Architectural starburst leaves on triangular stems 1-2’ tall, plants clumping as wide. Tiny flowers/seeds in tight clusters above the leaves add interest in summer. Being from the Nile, this Baby Tut is sub-tropical and not hardy below 25 degrees. Sink a pot in your water feature in spring and bring it in for the winter, a sunny window and a saucer of water will keep it happy. Wet, boggy soils, submerged… sun to part shade. Perhaps at the base of your pyramid?
