Camellia transarisanensis Avail. Spring 2023
Rare beauty, cuttings shared by Patty Freeman, understated elegance on this lovely species with an open, upright, arching form, 8-10’ tall and 4-5’ wide. Leaves are small and fragrant flowers diminutive, white with yellow pistils from red buds late winter to early spring. A delicate princess compared with her fat-flowered relatives. Red-orange hued new growth. Sun to part shade (no hot PM sun), decent soil and average moisture.
USDA Z8-9
