Perennial clumps of ferny foliage burst forth with 30” sprays of creamy white flowers late spring to early summer that nearly cover the plants. Flowers resemble Astilbe… but this genus can get by with a lot less water. Plants can expand to 4’ wide over time and create quite a show! Morning sun to moderate shade, great at woodland edges; moist, humusy rich soils ideal but tolerant of heavier soils and some drought especially in the shade.
