Arisaema consanguineum ‘Silver Leaf’

Exotic perennial that sends up a 30” stem in late spring/early summer topped by a parasol-like leaf composed of twelve smaller leaflets marked with silver (seed grown so variable) with drooping thin tips.  Hooded spathe flowers of purple and white striping follow, culminating in a long, downward arching thin tip over the opening.   Especially stunning in a pot where they can be viewed close up & personal or in grouping in the woodland.  Rich, moist, well-drained soil, light shade.  Red orange seed pods follow flowers
